Liquor store inventory, every store on one screen.

Liquor reads each store's POS, merges everything into one live catalog and tells you what to reorder, restock or clear out. Built with multi-store liquor retailers.

Sound familiar?

Running more than one liquor store is a data problem.

01

Every POS speaks its own language.

The same bottle has a different name, size or barcode at each store, so nobody sees the full picture.

02

Stock numbers you can't trust.

Counts drift while the store is selling, breakage goes unrecorded, and the first sign of trouble is an empty shelf.

03

Reordering by gut feel.

Without sales history across stores, it's hard to tell what to reorder, what to slow down and what to clear out.

What's inside

Everything a liquor store runs on.

One catalog across every store

Every store's POS data becomes one product list you can actually work with.

  • Each product is one row, with stock, price, cost, promotions and monthly sales for every store underneath.
  • The same product under different names, prices or barcodes at different stores comes together as one row.
  • Give every bottle size one name, so "750ML", ".75L" and "25.4OZ" stop being three sizes.
  • Search ranks results, forgives typos and matches the end of a barcode.
  • Switch between grouped, card and table views, and save the lists you use every day.

Know what to reorder

Every product gets a stock-health status for each store, with the reason spelled out.

Reorder Verify stock Clearance Stop ordering Overstocked New OK
  • Plain-language reasons such as "Below reorder point", "No sale in N days" or "Down X% vs last year".
  • A suggested order quantity, days of cover, and the excess units and cost tied up in overstock.
  • Five forecasting methods, from weighted sales velocity to the peak of the last six months.
  • Up to 24 months of sales history, even when your POS only exports 12, with a this-year-vs-last-year chart.

Restock lists that build themselves

Shelves get refilled with what actually sold, without anyone writing a list.

  • After every POS sync, rules you set put what sold onto each store's restock list.
  • Restock by month-to-date sales, year-to-date sales or drops in stock on hand.
  • Staff work the list on a phone, or print it on a receipt printer.
  • Out-of-stock and short items are flagged and carried to the next round.

Count with your phone

Stocktakes without clipboards, and without closing the store.

  • Scan barcodes with the phone camera and enter cases and bottles.
  • Keep counting in a stockroom with no signal; counts sync when you're back online.
  • Each count is checked against the POS reading at the moment it was scanned, so you can count while you're open.
  • Close the session and the difference report turns into corrections in one click.

Track every loss

See what shrink is really costing you, in dollars.

  • Record breakage with a reason and up to three photos.
  • Resolve count differences one at a time or in bulk.
  • Expected stock and cost are worked out on the server, so loss totals can't be edited from a browser.

Labels, coupons & flyers

Price changes and promotions go from screen to shelf in one batch.

Fixed price Percent off Amount off Buy X get Y free Multi-buy price Case price
  • Design shelf labels with prices, barcodes, QR codes and images, on sheets or rolls with cut marks.
  • Set a default template for each store and print up to 2,000 labels at once.
  • Create coupons with six deal types, each with a date range and a status.
  • Lay out promo flyers with product and coupon cards, and export them as images.

Make it yours

Shape Liquor around how your stores already work, without writing code.

  • Add custom fields built from templates or formulas.
  • Track your own product attributes, per product or per store: text, numbers, choices or images.
  • Highlight rows with conditional styles, like low stock or high margin.
  • Build spreadsheet-style sheets linked to products, with formulas and totals, ready to print.

Access, store by store

Each person sees and does only what their job needs, at the stores they work in.

  • Give each person access to all stores, no stores or a custom grid of stores and functions.
  • Separate permissions for counting, restocking, breakage, labels, uploads and more.
  • Sensitive actions such as deletes and bulk changes can require a manager's PIN.

POS sync

Your POS, synced. Never changed.

Liquor works alongside the POS you already have. Nothing at the register changes.

  1. Connect each store

Install the GrapeNode POS agent on the store's POS computer (Windows, LiquorPOS). Using another POS? Upload a CSV export and map its columns once.

  2. Sync automatically

The agent uploads stock and sales automatically, and you can read every store on demand.

  3. Read-only, always

GrapeNode never writes to your POS. Prices, sales and stock at the register stay exactly as they are.

The POS agent reads product, price, cost, stock, sales and vendor fields. It doesn't read customer, employee, cashier or transaction records.

In practice

A day with Liquor.

  1. All day Stores sync themselves

The POS agent reads each store's POS and uploads stock and sales. No re-keying.

  2. 8:00 AM Restock lists are ready

Yesterday's sales are already on each store's shelf restock list.

  3. 11:00 AM See what's running low

Stock health flags what each store should reorder, with a suggested quantity.

  4. 3:00 PM Count the stockroom

Scan bottles with a phone, even with no signal. Differences become corrections.

  5. 5:00 PM Print new shelf tags

Pick products and a template, and print labels or coupons in one batch.

FAQ

Questions about Liquor.

Which POS systems does Liquor work with?

The GrapeNode POS agent syncs automatically with LiquorPOS. Any other POS works by uploading a CSV export, with column mapping set up once per store.

Does GrapeNode change anything in my POS?

No. GrapeNode only reads your POS data. Prices, sales and stock in your POS are never changed.

What does the POS agent read?

Product, price, cost, stock, sales and vendor fields. It doesn't read customer, employee, cashier or transaction records.

Can we count stock while the store is open?

Yes. Each count is checked against the POS reading at the moment the item was scanned, so sales during the count don't throw off the result.

Does counting work without internet?

Yes. You can keep scanning in a stockroom with no signal. Counts are saved on the device and sync when the connection is back.

Can I control what staff can do at each store?

Yes. Give each person access to all stores, no stores or a custom grid of stores and functions, and require a manager's PIN for sensitive actions.
